Resumen del puesto y responsabilidades / Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Design of analog and mixed-signal circuis, for CMOS Image Sensors. Given specifications, define architecture, design at transistor-level with functional and performance simulations, layout design, physical extraction and development of verification and characterization methodology for them in silicon. 
  • Development of testbenches, behavioural models and block circuit simulations at the chip and system level for functional and response time checks.

Certificaciones / Qualifications

  • Telecomunications Engineer (electronics specialty), Electronics Engineer, Physics Degree (electricity and electronics specialty)
  • Knowledge of circuit design, analysis and simulation and layout/verification of bandgap regulators, operational amplifiers, DAC and ADC circuits.
  • Cadence EDA tool knowledge: Virtuoso, Spectre, Physical Verification System (PVS) and/or Calibre.
  • Knowledge of device physics and CMOS technology and their interaction with VLSI circuits.
  • English: good level written and spoken

 

Desired Knowledge

  • Experience in the design of image CMOS sensors.
  • Experience in designing High-speed PLL, regulators and serializers.
  • Experience with DSP algorithms, FIR filter design, windowing techniques, decimation, interpolation and modulation.
  • More than 3 years of experience designing analog circuits at the transistor level in integrated circuits, preferably with CMOS Standard technology.
